In the next five years the Intellectual Property Office shall endeavor to:

Register at least 70 Intellectual Properties at Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) and the National Library;
Facilitate the incubation and full commercialization of at least 2 registered IP; and
Be an IPOPHL accredited Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO).

The REPD office shall broaden the corpus of knowledge, expand the innovation reservoir, and encourage community engagement to improve the quality of life in its service area, and contribute to national sustainable development.

Advising on copyright protection for creative works, such as research papers, software, and artistic creations.

Trademark Services

Providing guidance on registering and protecting university trademarks and logos.

Patent Services

Assisting faculty, researchers, and students in filing patent applications for inventions developed at the university.

Licensing and Commercialization

Evaluating the commercial potential of university inventions and technologies.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support

Offering support for students, faculty, and researchers interested in entrepreneurship and starting their own ventures based on university innovations.

IP Education and Training

Providing workshops, seminars, and training sessions on intellectual property rights, patenting, and technology transfer.

What is Copyright?

Copyright is the legal protection extended to the owner of the rights in an original work. �Original work� refers to intellectual creation in the literary, scientific and artistic domain.

What is Trademark?

A trademark is a word, a group of words, sign, symbol, logo or a combination thereof that identifies and differentiates the source of the goods or services of one entity from those of others.

What is Patent?

An invention patent is a government-issued grant, bestowing an exclusive right to an inventor over a product or process that provides any technical solution to a problem in any field of human activity which is new, inventive, and industrially applicable.

What is Utility Model?
